If you have ever wanted to fly around in an X-Wing or fight for the Empire in a TIE Fighter then this is your game. Star War: Squadrons is the most immersive VR game I have played in a long time.

This game is a Star Wars fan’s dream. The controls are fluid and easy to use and the fights are amazing. The HUD is your actual cockpit; you have to use your instruments to fly. At first I thought it was going to be super complex but it’s actually very simple. You can adjust the throttle and shoot. Along with that, you can divert your power to different areas of the ship (engine, blasters, shields). I think that is a great touch and really gets you immersed. The large scale fights in Squadrons are great as well. Your team can talk to you and the general will appear in your ship as a hologram and give you objectives. The dogfights are fun and the flight controls are really easy to get the hang of. It really makes you feel like a pilot.

For a $40 game it is worth the price and I highly recommend it. And if you have VR, you should definitely give it a try.
