In the middle of June this year, the US Army made an hour-long block of transgender sensitivity training mandatory for all servicemembers. This comes after then President Obama ordered the military, during his administration, to allow transgendered individuals to serve openly as of July 1st this year. Obviously, this opened the door to the physical and medical treatment of those with gender dysphoria (a group who has a suicide rate 12 times that of the average American - let's give THEM the keys to an M1 Abrams or an F-16), and to the mandatory training that was enacted last month.

Transfemale soldiers. Transgender shower etiquette. "What To Expect When Your Expecting", and you're a dude.

Today, President Donald Trump made the following statement (via Twitter):
"After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you."

...BUT THEY SERVED HONORABLY AND STUFF!!! Listen, there's a reason "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" was a thing, and it was the RIGHT thing. The military doesn't care about what you do in your private life, for the most part. But when your private life interferes with the mission, and costs the taxpayers money, costs our military readiness, costs our servicemembers their lives over what amounts to a mental disorder, it just doesn't belong. We all undergo a military medical examination before being allowed to enlist in the military. If it is discovered that I have any of hundreds of conditions, ranging from bad teeth to anal fissures, to the inability to discern my left foot from my right foot, I would be disqualified.

If you're attempting to join the military and you don't even accept the male or female gender your parents gave you... how are you expected to accept the orders that your commanders give you?

This isn't about hate. This isn't about protecting minorities. This isn't about veterans who have served our country proudly and with distinction, regardless of what they do in their private lives. This is about our military readiness, our servicemembers lives, and our country's tax burden for the health and well being of each and every veteran who has and will serve our great nation.

The military doesn't pay for what would otherwise be voluntary surgical breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, or penis enlargement. It makes NO sense for our military (and our taxpayers) to include, with that burden, the medical cost of rejecting and removing a biological penis or vagina and replacing it with something else. It's downright unconstitutional. Which means it's downright un-American.

Heck, a five year old from 1990 knows that (thank you, Kindergarten Cop).
