Bowie is the difference between musician and artist. Dude was straight up artist. Am certain that got in the way of mainstream success on more than one occasion but we dig the attitude. The swagger.
Oddly enough, it feels like the Thin White Duke had the most success when he let down the “artist” front and was just Bowie. Let’s Dance was huge. And very, very radio friendly. Some great tunes on that album.
We’ll be going a bit farther back today. We dig the old stuff too. Bigly. Normal is good. Odd is usually a bit better.
