Hogwarts Legacy is everything you could want and more. The gameplay trailer just released and it looks nuts!

You start by making your own character, a student at hogwarts. Then, you get sorted by the sorting hat and put into a house. Afterwards, you can go to your houses dorm, meet up with some of your housemates, explore the castle, all that good stuff! You’ll have to go to classes, learn how to make potions, cast spells, and practice some defense against the dark arts as well.

But if all that learning mumbo jumbo isn’t your style, you can adventure outside of the castle grounds. Explore the Forbidden Forest, fight some monsters (including dragons!), and fly around on a broomstick! You can also adventure Hogsmeade and other classic locations.

There are many secrets inside hogwarts’ walls as well; dungeons, secret passageways, and hidden doors behind paintings. The game is set before the events of Harry Potter so most of those characters won’t be there. However, the classic ghosts that roam the castle will!

On top of all that fun stuff, there’s a story that links all of it together. Evil wizards and goblins are trying to take control of hogwarts. It’s up to you to stop these nerdowells from taking over the school.

So far, the game looks like everything you could ever want in a Harry Potter game!

It is set to release around holiday of 2022, so November – December most likely. Its going to release on all the main consoles: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
