What an incredible event! Elon Musk’s SpaceX just launched Starship, the largest rocket ever built, and we have the video. This is a monumental achievement for SpaceX as this is the rocket they plan to use to travel to Mars. For Mankind’s dream of being a multiple planetary species, Starship is the rocket that matters. Today’s test flight was a huge success. They learned a lot. However, the flight did have what SpaceX is calling a “Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly”. Meaning it blew up before the stages of the rocket separated. It also looked as though several rockets failed to ignite. But guess what? It flew. They got this behemoth off the ground and had an awesome flight. They will learn and improve. That is the track record for SpaceX. They launch and learn. And when they do get it close to perfection? Their rockets are incredibly reliant. So, congrats to SpaceX on today’s launch of Starship, it’s quite the achievement. The next one goes up in just a couple of months. We can’t wait.
