You know, there’s just something so motivating about the “old school” punk era of the 80s and 90s. Sure, some may look back on those days and our attitudes with a smirk, but man, out music was great.
And one of the coolest of the cool rebellious sounds was the punk, psychobilly one-two punch sounds of California band Social Distortion sigh guitar-driven bangers like this one:
They also had a big hit with their punk version of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire.”
Yet, there were a few other great songs that were just meant of slam dancing, head banging and hating on authority. We are older and hopefully wiser now, but we never stop rocking.
Remember, no matter what we all became in life, and no matter where it takes, us, never stop jamming until the Angels sing.
Telling my age here. When I was a kid I used to go around the neighborhood and offer to sing Ring of Fire for $1.00 a performance. I always had moneyđ
Love it!!
