Want to spend 110 bucks on a Star Wars Outlaws edition? We don’t. And we won’t. (video)

This started off as me trying to find an honest review of Star Wars Outlaws. There’s been plenty of discussion about the character design differences between Stellar Blade and Star Wars Outlaws. Personally, I’ve made my decision. I’ll be playing Stellar Blade. There’s lots of reasons why, and character design is in there. Also supporting smaller studios and all that wonderful stuff. Let’s get to the meat and potatoes of this review: The cost of Star Wars Outlaws. It’s insane. They just want to see what the market will bear, and gamers need to send a strong message. They are charging WAY too much. And we won’t pay. It’s that simple.

I found a good review of Star Wars Outlaws from Eckharts Ladder. As I watched, things took a turn. Right around the 3:45 mark when the cost came up. It’s fucking nuts. Do you want to spend 130.00 on and edition? You can! Do you want to spend 110.00 bucks? That’s available. The base game. No frills is 70.00 which to me is incredibly high. As a former Hollywood writer and producer, I’ll tell you this right now: This is a test of your spending habits and what you’ll part with financially. Thats the bottom line. They are testing the market.

So, I’m not going to participate. I’m gonna pass on Star Wars Outlaws and sleep happy knowing that Stars Wars games make hundreds of Millions of dollars. Sometimes, Billions of dollars. They’ll be fine. I honestly stopped watching the review after the price bomb dropped. Ha! Nope no and nope. Not worth it. Not even close. Maybe I’ll fire up Helldivers 2. That’s 40.00 bucks. That’s more like it.

But for those of you who are still onboard for this pricing experiment. Here’s the review of Star Wars Outlaws.
