Check out the story trailer for Dune: Awakening and let me know what you think. I’ve watched (and listened to) this clip a few times. Now I’m confused. I this an alternate timeline where Paul never existed? Are we playing this in the universe where a girl was born instead of Paul? It looks that way. That certainly how it’s presented in the story trailer. Now I don’t what to overreact, but what the hell? Did Dune just join Disney Star Wars in the bait and switch game? Disney likes to do things like: Hey, here’s a show about Obi Wan, that morphs into a show about Reva. The mysterious, poorly written girl boss. Is that what is going on in Dune: Awakening? Is this girl boss in the desert? I guess we’ll all find out soon enough. There’s no release date, but the clip shows June 20, 2024, there will be more information.
