Here we go again. Take a look at this clip featuring the first liquid robot. It can go inside your body and grab on to stuff. How about that? (Then I guess you poop it out?) Surely this won’t be used for some super evil purpose. Seriously though, while this is an exciting development, we need these scientists and anyone who uses these things to take a blood oath that they will never be used to harm a person. I’m prepared to go so far as having explosive implants put in people like in the movie Suicide Squad. As a fail-safe. If you try to use a robot to hurt a person? Kaboom. You’re all done.

So. no we have liquid robots and nano-bots. These things will supposedly go in your body and remove cancer or blood clots or something. That’s all fantastic on paper. All I can think of is a spy putting some nano-bots in your iced tea and then having them blow up an artery. Fake heart attack style. Is there any real ethical body that oversees this shit? Anyone with any real power? Yes, there are medical upsides. However, like any tech advancement, somebody somewhere cannot wait to weaponize it.
