The live action, Disney Snow White is just getting trashed online. And for good reason. It looks like it’s been a trainwreck from start to well… now. It’s been a giant headache for Disney and seemingly everyone involved. There might be Key Grip who didn’t step into the woke crap, but that seems like that’s the only one. So, is this the end of woke Disney? Woke Hollywood etc? Nope. There’s a long way to go yet. I’ll explain in the post. But first? Some laughs? Let’s start with some mockery.

And if you think this is all the actresses fault? Stop. Don’t even start. She’s an actress. She didn’t write the script or bankroll this fiasco. Did she help the movie? No. Not close. This version of Snow White is the perfect storm of Woke filmmaking. It doesn’t work.

Good news? Disney could re-release the original Snow White and make some money. They won’t though. That would be a public admission of defeat.

What IS the future for Disney and Hollywood? I get into this at length on the podcast this week. I will tell you this though. You can cancel all the DEI programs and end all your studios official DEI policies, but guess what? That’s just changing a name on the door. The people who work at the studios? The people who actually make the movies and decisions about movies that get made? They are woke as hell. From the art dept to human resources and all points in between. Hollywood isn’t going to stop making lame crap for a long long time. Good luck to all the hard-working regular people in the film business. It’s going to be a while.

The only good news is that the Disney Snow White fiasco is one step closer to being in the rear-view mirror.
