Breaking news: Former FBI head honcho Jimmy ‘don’t call me James’ Comey has pled ‘Not Guilty’ to some felony charges. Lying is one of those charges. Or rather ‘making false statements’. Whatever, I’m not a lawyer and I really couldn’t tell you the difference. Good Lort. Anyway, Comey and his lawyer went to court and said he didn’t do it. Hmmm… interesting.

Okay, cool. Now the wheels of Justice start to turn. The Feds say he lied. Comey says he didn’t. So… what’s this? Has Comey’s legal team seen these tidbits?

This is the part that I look forward to. How do you spin this? Was he confused? Mental?

I would think the idea of pleading ‘not guilty’ is, so you don’t dignify the charges. You can take the position that this whole trial is a mockery of justice. I get it. That may work in the media, and you may sway some already friendly folks. But dude… What about stuff like this?
