Let’s get into the big news for this week. These are the stories we think you should know about and might not be getting the attention they deserve. Or maybe it’s just some wildly funny event we think you should know about. Either way, you’ll be glad you clicked on The Big News.
Let’s start off with Zohran! This is the self-described Democrat Socialist who is the new Mayor of NYC. His plan? Lots of “freebies” for the people of NYC. How is he going to pay for that? Well, the people will have to pay to find out. The amazing Zohran is already asking the people of NY to donate…so he can figure things out. Hilarious! Want ‘free’ stuff? Send me money! It’s perfect.
SNAP benefits and Judges! So, a couple of Judges had ruled that SNAP benefits continue to get paid. Huh. I guess the thinking is that to deny people food is just too horrible. Huh. Can someone tell the judges that food is the reason people work? We work for money which we then trade for… food. That’s what this whole thing comes down to. Fuggin ridiculous!
And lastly this: Just a heads up about the future of the GOP. There is no future with the GOP unless they focus on the problems of Americans. The idiots in DC need to realize the clock is ticking. They have a small window to dramatically improve the lives of all Americans, or the gig is up. Change will come. In one way or another. Change will happen.
This moment from Elon Musk on Rogan should be played on a loop. Constantly by everybody in America.
Just when you think the NYC mayoral business couldn’t get any more hilarious. He’s asking for donations for his transition team? Hmm I don’t know about you ,but this all seems a little slush fundy to me. My British great grandmother would say “He has a set of balls that shine like silver”. The nerve of this guy. New York City is that slow kid in the family walking toward a power socket with a metal fork and the mother waving everyone off saying “It’s the only way he’ll learn”.
Judges shouldn’t be involved in SNAP benefits or any other entitlement program .They don’t write the policies or pass them into law.
Yes,you are on the money that the GOP has a very tight window to get the affordability of living in the US headed in the right direction or face the devastating consequences. That and voter ID have to be at the top of the list right now.
Thank you for the great article Michael and have fun in Florida!
