This hit gave them some pretty big recognition in the United States as well as an MTV Music Award for Best Rock Video.
Since then, Jet’s popularity has mainly been in Austrailia, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have a powerful alternative garage rock sound, particularly from their debut album, Get Born:

Lisa, A very cool pick for Sunday Jams. I always wondered whst happened to those guys. They had some great songs. I read they had gone through some turbulent issues and broke up and reformed a number of times. It’s a shame there popularity waned here. They really hit the ground running in the US with Get Born,a fantastic album. Thank you Lisa for a great Sunday Jams choice and have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
