He’s the Deputy Prime Minister and he’s letting people of the UK know his opinion. That you have no right to a jury trial. Hey! There’s a terrifying notion! Just let activist judges do what they want! And this no trial by jury thing appears to be moving forward! Insane. Even for the UK.
So, the excuse that’s being used is, there’s a backlog of court cases. Hmmm, interesting.
This is insane. In a country where you can go to jail for posts on social media. They want to get rid of most jury trials. A judge can just find you guilty and that’s that. Remind us again who the fascists are?
