I’m just going to be honest with you here. Today’s edition of RAF is going to be affected by the weather and my state of mind. Just so you know, it’s 13 degrees outside and I’m pretty sure that’s a warm as it’s going to get. Now this winter I made a choice to not get bummed out by the cold and dark. So far? So good. It’s been a challenge though. I find that escape videos work pretty well. And by escape videos I mean warm weather, beach, surfing and teeny bikini videos.
That doesn’t mean that RAF won’t include other wonderments. I’m just saying: It’s for our mental health to steer into the beach skid. You feel me? Anyway, here’s today’s RAF. Random Awesome Finds.
I believe this is the Blue Lagoon. It’s hot spring in Iceland. I had the chance to visit here on a stand-up tour years ago. 100% fantastic. Highly recommend. Bif shout out to Iceland! Loved that place.

Well it’s 61°F here in Las Vegas, Nevada with a big sun and blue blue skies. To me, this is the perfect temperature and weather to live.

The Blue Lagoon hot springs looks fantastic! People that grow up loving the snow are just wired different. I’ve had my share of snow faceplants ,at least that guy had fun with it. It’s crazy how a fish can just take you out like that. Brutal. That mountain view is unbelievable. I could do the whole Ferris Bueller line about looking around but it’s been overdone. These surfing videos are warming me up and taking away my winter grumpies. New Van Morrison music! Hells Yeah! I’m there. Stay warm and look forward to warm times ahead in Florida. Ms. Lynne, if I could send you my weather today via Amazon, I would gladly send it to you too. I gotta admit, I am being lazy sitting outside, underneath the olive tree with my 38 year old parrot. I got so much to do but it all can wait. I need a little downtime to relax and recharge before I go to the market and have to deal with …. people. Arrrgh!
I am glad you are keeping your jaxsy warm watching the Penguins play Hockey. I never got into hockey until I started getting free tickets to see the Wranglers at the Orleans Hotel, years ago. The Wranglers morphed into the LV Golden Knights and once that happened, buh bye free tix for me. Regardless, I became a hockey fan and really appreciate the game and the players. How tf do they keep their eyes on that puck?
I too love those surfing videos. I dated this guy years ago who tried to teach me to surf. I did alright but if I had a longer board, I think I would have had better results.
