Rush Limbaugh mentioned the movie Falling Down (1993) twice within seven days on his eponymous talk radio show. The first time was on July 30 and then he mentioned it again today. The movie wasn’t a smash hit but it’s remained in the collective memory of pop culture. Here’s the trailer for it.
Falling Down starred Michael Douglas and Robert Duvall. As far as what its main theme is, different people interpret it different ways. I watched it long ago and think I remember it pretty well, but I’m not confident enough in my memory to give my opinion on it now—particularly since my tastes and analyses of films have changed a lot as I’ve aged.
