Here Are the Books Featured on the Latest The Loftus Party Podcast!

Michael Loftus had yours truly as a guest on The Loftus Party podcast this week. We talked about culture and the books I’ve written. Be sure to give it a listen! Here’s a rundown of my books that we talked about. Read a little bit more about them and then head over to Amazon to buy them (and don’t forget to leave reviews). Thank you in advance! And thank you to Michael for having me as a guest! (RELATED: Cirsova Magazine’s Fall Special #1 Out Now!)

Her True Self

Her True Self is my latest work. This novella is geared towards young adults, but parents will want to read this book too. Oregon Muse reviewed the book for Ace of Spades on Oct. 11 and he had some great things to say about it.

Transgenderism is all the rage these days, the latest phase of the sexual revolution that’s being jammed down our throats with astonishing ferocity. Conservative author Paul Hair has just published his new YA novella, Her True Self, and the plot has a transgender theme:

Eric Kepner’s younger sister told him she was a boy when she was 13 years old. He didn’t accept it and nothing has been the same between them since then. Two years later and things have come to a head, with a near-tragedy leading him to uncovering a secret that shocks him to his core. He launches into action but nothing is easy. Everyone seems to be working against his efforts, including a government worker and his own family. As Eric pushes on against these odds he inches towards doing something drastic, and he prays that he’s able to help his sister before it’s too late. . . .

This a not the usual “stunning and brave protagonist comes out” story that you might expect. It is quite different. I’m reading it right now and the gender-confused teenaged girl has a brother who would do anything to help her. His love for her quite touching.

Her True Self draws you into the story right away and you won’t want to put it down. It’s a page-turner about a kid who’s just entering adulthood and trying to figure out how to do the right thing when no one around him wants to help. Again, this clean (no foul language or explicit scenes) book is written for young adults, but parents will enjoy it too. You won’t find anything else like it.

Appalling Stories 4: Even More Appalling Tales of Social Injustice

Appalling Stories 4 is the latest entry in the Appalling Stories series of anthologies. And this one features perhaps my favorite story to date: “The Chosen One.”

Adventure abounds in this short tale, with Dr. Ernie Roth hiring Stafford Fielder to lead a small team to find a mythical object that supposedly gives whoever wields it enormous power. Things don’t quite go as planned, and as the team races adversaries to the end, divisions begin forming within their ranks. Tension and excitement keeps building and it all leads to an ending you won’t see coming.

Appalling Stories 4 features some stories that are explicit and for mature audiences only. However, “The Chosen One” is either a PG or PG-13 tale. So if you’re looking for some fun adventure, this is the story for you.

Hating Jesus: The American Left’s War on Christianity

Hating Jesus: The American Left’s War on Christianity is a book for anyone looking for a nonfiction read. Matt Barber and I wrote it back in 2016. It was timely then and remains just as relevant today. From the book summary:

. . . American progressives have co-opted every elite institution: schools, government, the media, Hollywood and the arts; even, at an increasing rate, many conservative organizations. What’s worse is that progressivism has, like a deadly cancer, fully metastasized into what passes for the Church in America. There is a great falling away afoot, and apostasy reigns supreme. . . .

Hating Jesus will open your eyes to things you didn’t know were going on back in 2016. So imagine how much worse they have become since then . . . and how much worse still they just might get.

Thank you to everyone who has already purchased my books. And thank you to everyone who is going to do so. I appreciate your support! Again, please leave reviews and spread the word about my writings to those you know!
