On Dec. 31, One News Now reported that an Idaho elementary school staff member encouraged an 11-year-old girl to decide that she is a transgender “boy.” The girl’s mother and grandmother are not happy about it, and neither is the town where they live.
The article reported that the girl told “her mother and grandmother that she was transsexual and that she wanted to change her name and be addressed by male pronouns.” Later, during a phone conversation with the grandmother, a school counselor revealed she had been talking with the girl “to help her feel comfortable” about that decision.
According to the article, the girl is now attending a Christian school and community members are “challenging the school board, demanding that the counselor and principal be fired.” (RELATED: Lt. Gov. of Idaho Talks Freedom while Holding Bible & Pistol [VIDEO])
