Rockin’ 1000 Is Pure Rock Joy. Must Watch.

This is what it’s all about. Rockin’ 1000 just bringing a massive sledge hammer of rock joy. So much goodness here that hits on every level. Bring it! Bring me more!

The Rockin’ 1000 is a band. They do shows. That is insane levels of awesome. They started in July 2015 as kind of a publicity stunt to try and convince the Foo Fighters to do a show in Cesena, Italy. Fabio Zaffagnini found 1000 musicians and volunteers (mostly from Italy) to do a cover of “Learning to Fly” and they put it on YouTube as part of a crowdfunding effort. It was fucking spectacular. Just boatloads of people playing a great song and having the time of their lives.

So, like any good thing, why stop? Why not do more? Yes! So they did! They kept going. More songs. More gigs! More happiness! Hell, yes! Just look at the joy in these videos. The shared experience of live music. Making music with a 1000 people. Everybody jamming. Everyone have a great time. It’s just fantastic. I want to join. This is why I picked up the guitar. Chasing the kind feeling that just blasts through these videos. Let’s watch a couple….
