This looks promising: the CopterPack, a backpack helicopter. We like it. A lot. I’ll be needing three to start with then we’ll see about more.

Come on! How cool is this thing? Do we have questions? Yes. But overall we dig this way more than the “jetpack” of science fiction, and, really, kinda, you know, the Bobo Fett style ones. Sure a jetpack looks cool and all, but say hello to 3rd degree burns on your legs every time you suddenly thrust forward.
That’s one of the things we dig about the idea of the CopterPack. All the dangerous parts are away from your body. Big plus, right?
Now let’s get a bit more realistic as we calm the fuck down after watching that video. How long is the battery life? How long are we flying? How noisy is it? How much does the pack weigh? Can we add 2 more rotors? Ya know…as back ups in case of emergency. And lastly: How much? How much do we need in our “I want one now” fund?
