What would happen if some girls in Riverdale became vampires? That’s kind of the setup of Super ‘Suckers, a sitcom-like comic book series from Binge Books, even as it has no connection to Archie Comics.

Bleeding Fool reported on July 8 that Binge Books struck a deal with Diamond Comics for the company to distribute the “vampire comedy” comic book.
Broadcast TV may be abandoning the sitcom, but comic book publisher Binge Books is picking up the slack with its humor imprint, Sitcomics. The first Sitcomics release through Diamond Comics will be the vampire comedy Super ‘Suckers #1 by Emmy-nominated sitcom writer Darin Henry (“Seinfeld,” “Futurama”) and veteran cartoonist Jeff Shultz (Betty & Veronica).
The comic book series “is a romantic, horror soap-com about two college students who get a rare STD called ‘Vampire,’ which forces them into the world of suck buddies and fang caps” according to Darin Henry. Henry created the series and is the publisher of Binge Books.
Binge Books rates the series “for teens and up.” However, based on the content, some parents might not want their kids reading it unless they’re near the upper limit of the teenage range.
So if you’re looking for something other than superheroes and franchise adaptations in comic books, you might want to check out Super ‘Suckers and Binge Books.
