This was the act that really ruled Vegas back in the day. When Frank, Sammy and the rest of the gang would get done with their shows they’d head over to the Sahara to catch Louis Prima. That is some legit street cred.
Lots of people only know Louis from his gig as the orangutan in Disney’s animated Jungle Book, but the dude had mad skills as a musician, singer, bandleader and artist. Do yourself a favor and dig into Louis Prima and Keely Smith. So damn good!
