That was the final trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which opens tonight. You going to see it or nah? I know that I’ll be passing.

This flick seems like a big swing and a miss for Marvel. I’m talking big miss. Who knows? Maybe I’m wrong. It’s happened before. This one just feels like too much of nothing. It’s all over the board. It’s a guy that has crazy powers, keeping a secret, issues with his dad, cage fighting, random kung fu on busses, random kung fu on buildings, random jokes from his wacky gal pal sidekick…WAY TOO MANY OF THOSE…more random kung fu. Who’s the bad guy? Are we saving the planet or what? What’s happening?! Why is this important? Why should I want to watch? Guess what? I don’t. I’ll check it out on Disney Plus in a month. Meh.
