Well, it’s happened again. This time it’s Bette Midler who’s calling for a sex strike. A few months ago it was Alyssa Milano. Now it’s Bette Midler’s turn.

Midler is calling for a sex strike because she doesn’t like a law in Texas. That sums it up quite nicely. We find it quite telling that these celebrities are so eager to use sex as a weapon when they don’t get their way. It’s kind of refreshing to have someone just come out and say it: Do what we want or else we won’t fuck you anymore. Thank you! We always thought that’s how this whole thing worked but you just cemented it for us.

Here’s the other thing. They call for these sex strikes because on some level they think it will work! Why would they think that? I’m guessing it’s because they have done it before in their personal lives and it has worked. Alyssa and Bette have used sex as leverage in their relationships and it worked. That’s pathetic. It’s also diabolical. Who does that? What kind of sick person even thinks about withholding affection just to get their way? That’s horrible. The more I think about it, the sicker it gets.

So, dear Alyssa and Bette. You got issues. Probably want to hop back into therapy. You seem mean, selfish, vindictive and capable of truly despicable behavior. That’s ugly quite frankly. So ugly in fact it makes you very unappealing. Un-fuckable for lack of a better term. Ironic isn’t it? By calling for a “sex strike” it takes you out of the running for sex. By calling for strike you become the victim of the strike.

Who would ever want to have sex with someone who called for a sex strike? We wouldn’t.
