In the realm of social media, the week following Halloween is a photo parade of costumes…and this includes our long-suffering dog friends.

For those who aren’t quite ready to move into the next season, here are some of my favorite doggo costumes from Twitter’s posing pooches.
Many little dogs have had to endure the “hot dog” getup, but here’s a little wheeled guy who went as an entire hot dog cart.
Some dogs got topical this year, and here’s a pair who went as the Evergreen ship that got stuck in the Suez Canal in March…and its proud captain. No word if they made it to their destination.
One of the most eccentric collection was from New York City’s Tompkins Square Park Dog Parade, where dogs dressed as everything from the Staten Island Ferry, to AOC’s self-awareness lacking Met Gala appearance.
The doggy dress-up is something political types from both sides can get behind, as seen in this year’s “Bipawtisan Halloween Dog Party” hosted by Senator Thom Tillis.
Whether or not you’re the type to put a costume on your canine pals, sometimes it is hard not to laugh at some of the results. As such, let’s say goodbye with a pair of proper panda pups. Hope you and your pet pals had a safe and wonderful Halloween.
