Let’s go! Somebody got a copy of Metroid Dread for Christmas, and it did not disappoint. We are digging everything about this game. Old-school side-scrolling goodness! Love it.

Full disclosure: I haven’t finished the game yet. However, I’m in deep enough to be emphatic in my review: You gotta have it. Just do yourself a favor and jump into this one. It’s a smooth, good-looking, great-sounding return to Metroid greatness. Controls are easy. Gameplay is smooth. It’s all that and a bag of retro chips.
Go get you some Metroid Dread for the switch. Thank me later.
