Joe Biden gave a speech and told us someone had a dagger to the throat of democracy. Yikes! Democrats spent all day telling us just how dire the situation was. So much danger!

Then it happened. Nancy Pelosi gave a speech, and she introduced the cast of Hamilton. Wait. Wut? You’ve got to be joking. Nope. It happened.

Cause that’s what you do when you’re surrounded on all sides by danger. Showtunes. Who can forget FDR introducing the cast of Fiddler on the Roof after pearl harbor? Very calming for a worried nation. And of course, JFK during the Cuban Missile crisis soothed a worried nation with some sweet tunes from West Side Story.
