Okay so, that’s some good news. Also good? The cast. We got Rhys Darby as Stede and that guy is hilarious. And Taika Waititi as Blackbeard. Fantastic.

The problem or challenge here? To avoid flatlining and telling the same joke over and over. Hey look! A dandy trying to be tough. If the show can steer away from that? They have a chance. Here’s hoping the show avoids the pitfall. The trailer looks funny but we’re already feeling the sameness of most of the bits. Let’s hope it’s just a bad edit. It’s a crazy idea. Could be amazing amounts of zany, edgy, dark, fun. We got our fingers crossed.
