The Joe Rogan vs Censorship battle just took another turn. A turn for the worse in our opinion. The popular podcaster just issued an apology for things he said on his podcast years ago. In a sane world an apology video isn’t a bad idea. However, we don’t appear to be living in a sane world. We’re living in cancel culture. And in cancel culture? They give zero shits about your apology. It will never be good enough. When the mob has decided you have to go? They will never be satisfied. Just ask Kevin Hart or Roseanne. Both issued apologies and both lost gigs.
It’s not about what you say either. It’s about your perceived political stance and who’s side you appear to be on. The mob thinks Joe Rogan is a right winger, so he has to go.
