According to reports, this will be the Olympic games with the lowest viewer ratings in history. Good. Actually, it’s great. The entire thing feels like one gigantic farce. The picture we chose for this story sums it up quite nicely. It’s all a poorly throw together illusion. If you take even a second to think about the Chinese Olympics, they quickly lose their appeal.
Slave labor camps, ethnic cleansing, the wuhan lab, Hong Kong, the threats in Taiwan, 7 million dead people worldwide from the little ‘Lab Leak’, Communism, a social credit system, holy shit! Why is anyone going to these things? Why is anyone participating, let alone watching?! It’s madness!
So, hurray for all those who are turning their backs on this farce. And yes, I realize all the athletes trained really hard. They are the victims in this. How about we as a civilization stop holding events like the Olympics in places that have policies like China in the first place? How about that.
