What happens when basketball players can’t retrieve a ball stuck in a backboard? They call on cheerleaders to save the day for them.

On March 17, early in the first half of the men’s NCAA Tournament game between Indiana University and Saint Mary’s, the teams got the basketball stuck in the backboard of one of the hoops. And they were unable to dislodge it. After a bit, the IU cheerleaders came to the rescue, with one of the males hoisting up one of the females. And from there, she grabbed the ball.
