We’ll make this brief. As the confirmation hearings wrap up with Joe Biden’s Supreme court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, we have some concerns. Now, this isn’t going to be some kind of pseudo hit piece. This is just a sane person, me, voicing some issues I think a lot of people share about having KBJ on the highest court in the land.

First, it’s the whole: ‘Can you define what a woman’ is thing. KBJ said she couldn’t, she’s not a biologist. Come on. What the fuck is that? I’ll tell ya. It’s the answer of a woman who is afraid. She is afraid of what progressives (aka woke) would think of her answer. She knows very well what a woman is. KJB is fearful of appearing out of lockstep with the murky new ‘rules’ about gender. And no, I’m not going to go on about trans rights. The point is this: KBJ in my opinion, dodged the question and played politics with her response. Is that someone you want on the Supreme Court? Coming to the right decision and doing the right thing isn’t always popular. KJB doesn’t seem to get that.

Next is KJB claiming she is unaware of CRT being taught in a school when she sits on board of that very school. Just find that a tough one to swallow. Granted, I don’t expect her to know the birthday of a maintenance guy, I have to think she’s aware of the curriculum. It’s critical race theory. It’s controversial to say the least. I think they probably covered it at a ‘team meeting’ at some point. It strains credulity to think she just didn’t know about it. To quote Joe Biden: ‘Come on, man!”

Ketanji Brown Jacksons nomination was total political move. And that’s how I think she’ll behave as a justice, politically. Not the constitution. Pure politics. Not a good sign for the country.
