Here’s the teaser trailer for ‘Andor’ from Disney + and Star Wars. Check that out. We have some thoughts on this one. First? Congrats on a terrific looking trailer! Holy crap is it refreshing not to watch someone walk down the middle of street on Tatooine. Big thumbs up on that. Hell, this looks like a totally different planet! And was that the Senate we saw? Congrats again! You have the entire galaxy and you finally decided to show some beyond the same tired ass desert.

Now here’s the downside. This story is about the dude from Rogue One and how the rebellion started. So, on it’s best day it’s an uphill climb. Did you watch Rogue One? We did. We know what happens. Prequels are always hard. Always. But when we all know the end? Even harder. Then comes the bigger question: How will Disney ruin this? They have a well established pattern: Kick ass trailer followed by a shitty show. Again and again and again. At some point even the hardcore fans tap out. Will they watch Andor? Time will tell. Also, Kenobi will factor in. Big time. If that is shit? Fold the tents and leave.
