This week’s Sunday Jams features the Allman brothers. It also features a question: Where is this music today? The melody, the guitar work? This stuff was everywhere back in the day, and it seems to have disappeared. The musicianship is just off the chart. Dual guitars. Slides. Harmonic solos. And it all sounds so effortless.
