If you just listen to one of these tracks, it should be Waterloo Sunset. Trust me. Somehow, I had gone my entire life without hearing it until about 2 months ago. That’s a legit crime. Do yourself a favor. Check it out. Then of course enjoy the other picks, by all means, The Kinks are a very odd band. I feel most people think they get them figured out really quickly, but when you go just a tad deeper into their music… just a tiny bit, they’ll surprise you. I won’t even try to pin down the appeal.
