Here’s a movie that should be on your watchlist!
A middle class suburban family in the 80s gets their whole life turned upside down after a nearby chemical leak triggers the “Airborne Toxic Event”. The film is an adaptation of a book under the same name, written by Don DeLillo and adapted to the silver screen by Noah Baumbach. Starring Adam Driver, Don Cheadle, and Greta Gerwig, along with what seems to be a cameo by André 3000. The movie arrives to Netflix in late december but is already in select theaters.
This movie looks like its gonna be fun. A totally suburban middle class family trying to escape a nuclear fallout, what more could you want! I’ll tell you what more I could want, I would like to see a movie with the exact same premise but in modern day. Oh that’s right, these cowards are too afraid, they hid behind the 70s and the 80s! Its getting old people! BUt other than that I think it’s gonna be a fun, eye candy, brain candy sort of movie.
