Just a heads up. It would seem there are some serious storm clouds on the horizon for us as a nation and I’m not too confident about our elected official’s ability to handle them. (Trying to be nice here) For the first time I can recall there are some legit questions about America being able to do the most basic things a society needs to be able to do. Stuff like food, water, energy and being able to defend itself. It sounds a bit ‘out there’ and inconceivable at first, but when you stop and think about everything going on right now, shit gets real concerning, real fast. Have these people never even played SimCity? Civilization? There’s shit you need. Things you have to have. Is this new info? Why does it feel like it is for these people?

Can we defend ourselves against a threat like China? Do we have enough missiles and ammo? We are sending tons of weapons to Ukraine. There’s no end in sight. Are we resupplying those stockpiles? You know, for some wacky reason like: WE need them? If China goes after Taiwan, and the US has to go toe to toe with the Chinese, we have enough long-range, precision-guided munitions to last about a week. That’s according to a recent think tank report. I’m no military history expert, but it seems like most ‘conflicts’ last a bit longer than a week.

We still have shortages of baby formula, medicine and antibiotics too. That’s some thrilling news. People are smuggling eggs into America. Eggs. A super basic food staple is being smuggled into this country because of shortages. Now throw in some inflation and food processing plants burning down and there’s some real concern about the food supply. And let’s not forget about all fun someone is having attacking the power grid! How about those apples? Oh! And the drinking water. There’s plenty of concern on that front as well! WTF?

This seems like a big deal. Food. The ability to defend yourself. Having power. Those are basics. Old school let’s have a civilization basics. Nothing about these needs is ‘out there’. These are the building blocks of what a society needs. Now you can chalk these things up to conspiracy theories, but I’ll remind you that the conspiracy theorists are currenty in the lead. Like 37 to 0. So, there’s that. Just a heads up.
