So we’ve all heard about ChatGPT, it’s wonders and potential horrors. I’m of two minds. One, this sort of thing is unnatural, it’s ungodly, and it’ll lead to the end of our race as we know it. Two… it might actually be a good time. 

I mean really, I still don’t actually like anything AI. If gives me a bad feeling. It’s like certain injectable things that came out in the early 2020s… something just seems off about the whole thing and I have an instinct to stay clear. 

However!!! I couldn’t help but notice some artwork that came across my desk and I got got, people! I got got! This shit is cool and unique and I had to share it. 

On Instagram, there’s a particular account that I love called @neptunianglitterball. You should check this stuff out. It’s a feast for the eyes. 

The style is a retro futurism and I’m obsessed with staring at it. These images are photorealistic and so incredibly odd. It’s like concept art for the coolest video game you’ve never played or movie you’ve never seen. 

From what I can gather, these are created using something called MidJourney AI and users enter prompts in order to get this artwork. I still can’t fathom how that begins to work, but I think it’s pretty awesome.
