Sunday Jams: Frank Turner

I was looking up a movie trailer this week, when the season 3 announcement for the comedy Ted Jasso popped on.

I didn’t care either way about the show announcement, but I immediately recognized the folky feel-good celebration of the rock and roll pioneers, “I Still Believe” by the British folky punky singer, Frank Turner. The song is well over a decade old, but is still as catchy as ever:

It don’t get involved in the political commentary by Turner, as it is very different of mine, but I love me some good feel good sounds. A good song is a good song, and Frank Turner has written quite a bit, like this little life lesson on keeping is real and being happy with what you have:

There’s also this fun piece about staying about growing older but not necessarily growing up.

Yeah, Turner has a cool, sound, and whether you’re familiar with him, I do agree with one issue he often shares…be creative, be fun…don’t get too full yourself…and never stop making your own music.
