Well, what do we have here? Some pretty bombastic news about the Rona, the Woohan, The ol’ Covid. The Dept of Energy says a lab leak is likely behind the Covid outbreak. Here’s a link to that story. For those of you who have been paying attention, this news doesn’t come as much of a shock. Let’s just say the Bat Soup excuse didn’t really ring true over here from jump street. So, while it’s an epic disappointment that it took 3 years for these findings, at least it’s some recognition of reality. Tis a Lab in Wuhan making Viruses. That’s probably the point of origin. It’s a step in the right direction. Now for the more difficult question: Was Covid an accident? That’s what inquiring minds want to know. That’s where all this is ultimately headed. There is at least one scientist who is saying no. It wasn’t an accident. That is super disturbing. We’ll try to take the high road and put it nicely. The timing of this ‘accidental’ leak was too coincidental. Just months before a Presidential election? To paraphrase FDR. Nothing in politics happens by accident. If it happened?
