We’ll walk you through it and everything will make sense. It’s actually brilliant in its simplicity, if true. So, National Security and Pentagon officials are concerned these cranes (which are high-tech. This goes way beyond simply lifting containers and setting them down) contain sophisticated sensors that can register and track the provenance and destination of containers, prompting concern among officials and lawmakers that China could track U.S. military operations around the world. Get paid for the cranes and thier use AND they get the info on what goods are going where. That’s like getting paid to spy. And it’s really solid intelligence! It’s brilliant.
