Everyone has bad days and difficult situations to face. Sometimes the last thing we need is to take part in the constant finger-pointing and “gotcha” tactics on everything from political ideology to pineapples on pizza.

I originally jumped on “the socials” to share experiences, whatever creative endeavor folks have going and to laugh. These elements are still there, including on Twitter, but everything is buried beneath political and social sniping.

Do I have strong opinions on everything happening in the world? You betcha I do. Do I constantly want to spout them. Nope, especially not when on weeks when “regular life” situations like dental surgery, home repairs, and pocket pets dying seems more important.

We all need a some laughter breaks. As this week drags on, I am offering a few immature laughs for you to share. Enjoy what I have going on in my head when the intellectual squabbling seems out of hand.

There is much to discuss about the Russia and Ukraine right now that is so nuanced and infuriating. Instead, thing of the frustration of classic Adam West and the best Batman scene ever:

Don’t forget June is coming up. In my girls’ lives, it means BTS is getting ready for their 10th anniversary music releases. Everywhere else, it’s rainbowpalooza. What about the Border situation? I live where we are seeing some horrifying things going on which aren’t good for either American citizens are those masses pouring in. It is an overwhelming and out of control situation. This really calls for an escape….like Rick-rolling with raptors:

Any finally, there’s the ever-growing narcissism of the “for modern audiences” reboots and rebrands of…well, pretty much everything (looking at you, Disney). You know what everyone, of all ages races and lifestyles would be entertained by? Penguins walking at hight speed:

Sometimes, we just have to take a break and laugh. You have to let the world creak along on its bent and bruised axis and enjoy the fact there are others who want to enjoy life’s absurdity at its best.

Thank God for humor and people who spend way too much time editing things for the purpose of fun. As we hurl ourselves into the weekend, remember this.
