Had to watch this one twice. Couldn’t trust my reaction to the first viewing of the trailer for Kraven The Hunter. Still trying to wrap my head around what’s going on here. It’s that bad. Now this is a Sony movie, so maybe they’re in a position where if they don’t make a movie about Kraven, the movie rights revert to Marvel. So, they just slapped something together and decided to roll the dice. But if they think they might accidentally stumble into a box office win? No. That won’t be happening. However, we would like to congratulate Russell Crowe on what had to be a sizeable payday. Maybe that’s where all the money went? Instead of FX, cinematography or acting classes for the lead? Watch this trailer. Is any part of this compelling? Any? Are we supposed to feel something? Pretty sure we are. Sadly, Kraven looks like a series of first takes from a first draft of movie.
