Just got back from checking the world wide web and things are looking bleak for the justice system around the world. Here’s three stories that should have you worried. Justice seems to be taking quite a nap. Or rather it’s been put into some kind of Orwellian coma. Once upon a time, a crime had to be committed before you were ‘in trouble’. Once upon a time there was freedom of speech. And yes, once upon a time a crime needed a victim. All of those things don’t seem to matter anymore. You can be arrested for saying the wrong thing (even if it’s a joke). You can run afoul of the law without a victim! Here’s three stories ripped from the headlines that will have you deeply concerned about ‘Justice’.
