Space X and Starship are ready, but mountains of government regulations are the big challenge. (video)

There’s a good reason for regulations, we get it. No one wants some big mega corporation just doing whatever the hell they want. Let’s just get that argument out of the way. Some regulations are good. However, now we’re getting the distinct vibe that mountains of red tape and regulations are being used to slow down the progress of Space X and Starship. That sucks balls. Elon Musk’s rocket company say’s they are ready to go. Starship is ready for more test flights, but a steady stream of regulations is slowing them down.

Check out this video where Senator Ted Cruz talks with Space X vice president of build and flight reliability at a recent hearing. Starship is ready, but the dept of Fish and Wildlife is the latest agency to put a hold on test flights. It’s got to be a frustrating development to say the least. Humanity needs to expand beyond earth. It is our best chance to survive as a species. How many mass extinction events has Earth already been through? Wouldn’t it be nice to survive one of those? So, how about we dial down the regulations on Space X and actually help them go faster? That seems like a prudent move.
