Everyone loves to bitch about Christmas songs. Which ones get played too much? Who is incredibly underplayed? Mariah Carey is usually the victim of most people’s holiday ire, but I gotta tell ya, I love that tune. Guilty. Now maybe we can find some common ground with this one. A terribly underrated holiday jam: Christmas All Over Again by Tom Petty. Absolute classic. Petty says he wrote this song in the summertime on a Ukelele he got from George Harrison. The tune also got some love from Jeff Lynn who helped out on a few odds and ends. Just a wonderful song. Hope you dig it. Merry Christmas!
