Prince on Sunday Jams (video) and one of the best guitar solos of all time.

This guy is still missed. You cannot say enough about Prince and his incredible talent. Dude was absolutely brilliant. When you stop for a moment to try to wrap your brain around his body of work, it’s just mind boggling. Then you factor in his skill as a musician and it’s all over. All you can do is pick your jaw up off the floor and play the next track. We picked three songs from Prince for Sunday Jams. And you have to listen to the last one. It’s a cover of ‘while my guitar gently weeps’ from a rock and roll hall of fame ceremony. Pay special attention to Tom Petty and Dani Harrison’s reaction as Prince lays out on the best guitar solos ever caught on tape. The man is having a blast. Petty and Harrison and every other musician on stage are keenly aware of what they are witnessing and having the time of their lives. It’s an incredible performance. Hop you dig it. Here’s Prince on Sunday Jams.

Okay. Here we go. Watch this. Am blown away. Every. Single. Time.

I’ll probably post some more stuff from him. There’s some shows at the LA Forum that are insane!
