Sunday Jams: Reel Big Fish

It may be still cold out there in many places, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get a little spring break or summer fun party vibes goin with some old school punky ska.

Back in 1991, Reel Big Fish was formed by a group of high school students in Huntington Beach as a cover band, but evolved into a high energy ska ensemble with a huge cult following. Only lead singer Aaron Barrett remains of the original school group, but the current cast of talented dudes is still cranking out cool sounds that make it hard to sit still.

Their biggest hit came in 1997 with this song that peaked at Number 10 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart:
