Check out the trailer for Monkey Man. We’re ready for this one. This looks a great time at the movies. Dev Patel gives a great story! A man on a mission. John Wick style fight scenes. One man against all odds. What’s not to love? You throw in a romance and some mysticism you have a recipe for success. You also have a recipe for a franchise. Just like John Wick, there’s no reason this couldn’t continue for a sequel after sequel. Now rumor has it that this movie was going to be released on Netflix, but producer Jordan Peele dug in for a theatrical release. Good call. Bigger hype. Better chance for another bite at the apple. Monkey Man hits theaters on April 5th.
