We’re just going to present this trailer with as little commentary as possible. Here’s your first look at Kevin Costner’s Horizon: An American Saga. We’ll let you make up your own mind as to whether or not it gets you stoked to go see it. We will say this: Horizon is risky as all hell, and we respect that. Big time. This is reported to be Kevin Costner’s passion project. Who knows how much of his own money went onto this thing. Time will tell. It’s a massive gamble. There’s talk of 4 parts to the Horizon saga. Again: Kinda nutty, but we dig the vision. Go big or go home!

Now for the review of the trailer for Horizon: An American Saga part one. And this is the challenge when you’re cutting a trailer for a saga. I don’t know who I’m rooting for. I don’t know what story I’m following. When you watch a trailer for Lord of the Rings, there’s good guys and bad guys. The audience can lock in immediately. When you’re doing an American Saga, with complex stories and characters and a cast that is just insanely big… I don’t know who’s side I’m on. But damn if this trailer isn’t impressive as all get out.
